The precepts: Never do healing work without the permission of the recipient. The free will of all human beings is sacred.
Reiki is a loving and unconditional Universal Life Force Energy. This gentle and spiritual healing energy is channeled through the hands of the practitioner and helps bring the body into balance so self-healing can begin. As channeled energy, Reiki is divinely guided and will always go where it is most needed. Coming from Source connection with love and light, Reiki can never do harm, and is always for the highest good of the person, place or situation receiving it.
Reiki restores and balances life force energy - mind, body and soul. It gently calms emotions, restores self-worth, brings about a sense of peace and well-being and opens the pathway to a deeper connection with purpose and meaning. Many have found Reiki to be very beneficial in reducing stress, grief, worry, anxiety and tension related physical aches, pains and illness.
Working beyond the limits of time and space, Reiki healing sessions are a powerful aid in loosening and releasing any negative, stagnant or 'stuck' energies and traumas in the past or present, both at the conscious and subconscious levels.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of
the energy field (the
pathways of the chakras, meridians, nadis and aura.)
and charging them with positive energy. It raises the
vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body
where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes
the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki
clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the
life force to flow in a healthy and natural way. This may alleviate
the symptoms of disease or disharmony by addressing root cause,
revitalizing the chakras and enhancing the flow of life force, “Ki”.
This impacts the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies
through releasing the blocks to your manifesting the energy of the
loving and powerful essence which you are. The Reiki student learns
a natural way of healing which balances energy, re-establishing
spiritual equilibrium and mental and physical well-being. Reiki is more than a healing modality and training is much more than simply learning a series of hand positions and healing techniques. Reiki is also a spiritual journey of connection and a peaceful means to an enriching and enlightened life.
Reiki is not taught in the typical way other healing techniques are taught. The student is taught how to channel healing energy to self and others, but the Source connection and spiritual alignment is transferred to the student by an initiated Reiki Master Teacher during an attunement. Each attunement incrementally aligns the chakras to the Reiki Source Connection and healing ray. The attunement also opens and connects the crown, heart, and palm chakras and creates a special link between the student, teacher, Reiki healing guides and Source energy.
Along with being a practitioner and channeling source energy for healing, another benefit of Reiki is as a tool on the path to discovering the deepest essence of who you are. You can use this energy as a springboard to deeper and deeper levels of consciousness and intuition.
Once you have received a Reiki attunement, you will have Reiki Source connection for the remainder of your life. It does not 'wear off' and you can never lose it.
